I lived in the Coeur d’Alene area for about 23 years prior to my move to Sandpoint in 1999. “Sandpoint had me at the bridge” is what I hear often from clients and that is certainly what happened to me….I knew this was where I wanted to live. Often you can find me and my border collie, Nicky, walking down to dog beach for play in the lake.
Starting out as office manager for a real estate company, you could say I learned the business from the ground up. When I started entertaining the idea of becoming a REALTOR, I began observing the attributes that made each agent in the office successful. Practicing what I learned from those observations coupled with my natural ability to work with people and prior experience as a business owner have helped to ensure my success. Being a director on the MLS board has helped me to stay abreast of real estate concerns.
I do my best to stay sensitive to each Buyer’s and Seller’s needs whether it is purchasing a home for the first time, a second or third home situation, or a Seller who is offering the family estate filled with childhood memories. You will find me to be honest, straight forward, creative and very hard working. If I don’t know the answer, I will do my best to find it.
Just a few of my services
One of the most useful services I can offer the BUYER who is just getting to know the market, is the receiving of NEW listings automatically from the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). First, I would send you an initial push by email of the listings that fit your criteria and then use that same criteria to set you up to receive NEW listings automatically. You will receive NEW listings just about as fast as the agents get them. This service can be easily updated or discontinued with a quick email. It’s probably the best way to stay informed of what the market is doing without doing lengthy searches.. Please ask me about doing this for you.
One of the first and most important steps in preparing the home of a SELLER for market, is the pricing. I will do a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) at no cost to you as well as a broker consult.to give you the best chance of selling in this very competitive market. Since presentation of your property can give you the edge you need in today’s market, I will give you ideas on how best to prepare your property.
